An Open Letter To All New Moon Customers: It has come to our attention from three (3) separate, independent sources that another comic shop owner has been telling all those who shop with us (and them) that New Moon Comics is going out of business. We wanted to let everyone know that that is blatantly false, unfounded, and a downright low-class business practice! We will not identify the store, but suffice to say, their claim to "bring your pull list to us because New Moon will just be gone and you'll miss your books!" is an out-and-out lie. We have always been honest with our friends (customers)! We believe that true honesty is, indeed the best policy. Things are difficult now. They are difficult for everyone! The economy is not picking and choosing who to hurt; well, millionaires are not hurting too much, we would guess. But we are alive, and in business. And will continue operations until our last breath! Also, to be clear; and put doubting minds at ease - if we would ever have to close our physical brick and mortar location; which, again we do not foresee at any time in the future - we would CONTINUE our operations as a home-business until a new physical store-front location can be obtained. The only customers that would be affected by that would be our gamers; our comics' customers will not notice any difference except that they will have their comics delivered, shipped, or would need to pick them up from us directly. But, again, this is 'worst case' scenario and is not, at all something that we see occurring. We thank the friends (customers) that came to us with this information, and thank everyone that continues to allow us to serve your comics and gaming needs! NOTICE: During public events; sanctioned tournaments and Specific gaming events, the store will remain open. So, if you're coming to the 6:00 PM Friday Night Magic: The Gathering - we are not closing the store at 7:00 PM, we'll remain open until the tournament is complete. Also, we will remain open for YOU. Yes, if you are running late, give us a call - we'll wait for you (within reason, an hour or more could be asking a bit much) because that is how important you are.

Each 9" X 26" LONG box holds up to 235 and 9" X 18" SHORT box holds 145 bagged and boarded comics. Short enough to fit lengthwise in many closets. New Moon Comics' Magic: The Gathering Prerelease & Launch Party Format Guide New Moon Comics will proudly host ALL NEW MAGIC: THE GATHERING Prereleases and Launch Parties. As an ADVANCED LEVEL VENUE, we host the events on both the SATURDAY & SUNDAY of the scheduled weekend. (ex: Magic 2011 (M11) Prerelease is Saturday and Sunday, July 10-11. The M11 Launch Party is Saturday and Sunday, July 17-18). The schedule for each day of any Prerelease and Launch Party is the same: TIME FORMAT DETAILS 10:00 AM Booster Draft 24 Player Maximum (Room Limit) 3 Pods, 8 Players per Pod (3-Rounds) 1:00 PM Sealed 24 Players Maximum (up to 5-Rounds) OPEN MAGIC Booster Draft In the event there are at least 8 players that wish to have a Booster Draft (maintaining the room's 24-player maximum limit), we will offer as many ongoing Booster Drafts as players would like.   Pricing: BOOSTER DRAFT: Each Booster Draft is $15.00 and includes three packs (packs depend on the event, in the example of M11, each player is given 3 packs of M11) to draft from. SEALED: Each Sealed is $25.00 and includes up to 6 packs (packs depend on the event, in the example of M11, each player is given 6 packs of M11) to build their deck from. Attend one, save on others: By attending ONE of our Prerelease/Launch Party sealed events, you will receive a $5.00 discount on the entry fee of the remaining Prerelease/Launch Party events for that current set. (example: You pay $25.00 to attend the Saturday Prerelease, you would only pay $20.00 for Sunday's Prerelease AND the Saturday & Sunday Launch $15! That's like getting a Booster Draft FREE!)
